Description: 

Olive Oil Emulsifier is a great emulsifier for natural creams, milks and lotions. It is effective at levels from 3% and can be used up to 10% if a richer cream is required.  The emulsifier gives light, pleasant feeling emulsions with an elegant white finish and due to its high percentage of olive oil fats, it has a good affinity and mildness to the skin.

This ingredient is derived from a blend of olive oil fatty acids and wheat proteins (from gluten) so this is not classified as a gluten-free ingredient.

Stability: Optimal stability is achieved in creams with a pH of between 5-7

Melting Point: 65-67C

Ingredients: Olivoyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Oleate, Glyceryl Stearate, Potassium Hydroxide, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate

Recommended Use: 2-5%

Note: This can be used as the only emulsifier
