A natural lip gloss base made with castor oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E (INCI: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopherol). It gives a glossy, hydrating finish and leaves lips feeling soft and smooth. Use it on its own for a clear, natural gloss, or add your own colours and flavours to make a custom lip gloss.

Suggested usage rates

• Clear gloss: 100% base
• Lip-safe micas and pigments: 0.5 to 3%
• Lip-safe flavour oils: 0.5 to 1%
• Extra oils such as Vitamin E Oil: up to 5%

Only use colours and flavours that are approved for lip products. Not every mica or fragrance is lip-safe.

How to use it

• Clear gloss: Fill tubes straight from the base using a syringe or pipette, then add the wand and cap.
• Coloured gloss: Mix the mica or pigment with a small amount of base into a smooth paste first, then stir it into the rest of the base until even.
• Flavoured gloss: Add a lip-safe flavour oil at 0.5 to 1% and mix well before filling.
• Applying: Apply with the applicator wand directly to lips and reapply as needed through the day.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make lip gloss with this base?
Weigh out the base, mix in 0.5 to 3% lip-safe mica or pigment and 0.5 to 1% lip-safe flavour oil, stir until even, then fill your tubes. Make a small test batch first to check colour and feel.

Can I use it on its own?
Yes. On its own it gives a clear, natural, glossy finish.
