Aloe Vera Gel
Description: Aloe Vera Gel is a clear, ready-to-use, preserved gel base made with Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder and glycerin, thickened with carbomer. It feels cool and light on the skin and works on its own as a light gel moisturiser or as a base you can customise with oils, extracts, hydrosols and scents. Small brands use it as a ready-made base for gels, masks and private label products. It is available in 100ml, 200ml and 500ml, with 1L to 20L on the Aloe Vera Gel Wholesale page. Suitable for most skin types; patch test first.
Why It’s Special:
- Ready-Made Base: It is already thickened and preserved, so you can customise it without starting from scratch.
- Light, Cooling Feel: It absorbs quickly with no greasy finish.
- Easy to Customise: It takes oils, extracts, hydrosols and fragrances well.
How to Enjoy Aloe Vera Gel: On the face, apply a thin layer to clean, slightly damp skin. On oily skin it can be your only moisturiser; on dry skin, use it as a hydrating layer under a cream, or seal it with a few drops of face oil. On the body, smooth it on after sun, shaving or exercise for a cool, light feel. Keeping a small jar in the fridge makes it even more refreshing. Is this pure aloe vera? No. It is an aloe vera gel base made with aloe leaf juice powder, water, glycerin and a thickener, and it is preserved. The full ingredient list is shown below, so you know exactly what is in it.

Making It Work: Stir in your oils, extracts or scents and decant into a pump bottle or jar. Can I add oils to it? Yes, up to about 5%. Stir well; above that the gel can turn cloudy or separate. Adding large amounts of salt-containing extracts or acids can also thin the gel, so add slowly and test a small batch first. Mix in small batches with clean tools, and use a pump bottle to limit contact with fingers. Is it suitable for private label? Yes. Many small brands use it as a base; see our Personal Care Bases for more ready-made bases. Need bulk? 1L to 20L sizes are on our Aloe Vera Gel Wholesale page.
